We provide a comprehensive network of residential, nursing, dementia, and short-term respite care environments across England and Wales. Our purpose-built homes are strategically situated to serve local communities across:
Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire: Homes in Clifton (Nottingham), Ripley, and specialized complex dementia care at Haddon House in Clowne near Chesterfield.
The West Midlands & Staffordshire: Facilities in Wolverhampton (Coton Grange and Coton House in Tettenhall), West Bromwich (Richmond Court), and across Burton-on-Trent (including Kings Bromley and Poplars).
Yorkshire & Lincolnshire: High-quality care provisions in Sheffield (Heeley Bank) and Gainsborough (Ferndene).
Mid-Wales: Dedicated regional care at St Nicholas House in Montgomery, Powys.

Our approach is rooted in specialist, person-centred care. Across our dedicated dementia wings such as Coton House in Wolverhampton or Haddon House in Derbyshire, our homes feature dementia-friendly design layouts, safe sensory spaces, and memory recall environments. Our care teams undergo continuous specialist training to protect resident dignity, manage complex care needs safely, and deliver tailored lifestyle activities.
-
Yes, we work closely with local councils across all of our regional home hubs. Social care funding in the UK is strictly means-tested against standard capital thresholds (such as the upper limit of £23,250 in England or £50,000 in Wales). If your local authority financial assessment confirms you are eligible for funding support, we welcome council-backed placements. In instances where our standard private room fees exceed the basic council budget allocation, we will accept a "top-up fee" to secure the resident's preferred room.
-
Yes. Our fully registered clinical nursing homes and our dedicated clinical wings across Staffordshire and South Yorkshire accept residents qualifying for NHS health funding. If an individual is assessed by an Integrated Care Board (ICB) as having a primary health need, NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) covers 100% of their care home fees, accommodation, and clinical support. If they do not meet full CHC criteria but require registered nursing interventions, the NHS provides a flat-rate Funded Nursing Care (FNC) weekly contribution paid directly to our homes to offset clinical costs.
-
Absolutely. We actively encourage prospective residents, their families, and social workers to arrange a personal tour. Visiting our homes allows you to meet the home managers, tour our facilities, see our private bedrooms, and get a true feel for the daily community atmosphere before making any commitment.
-
We operate a completely flexible, open-door visiting policy across our entire network. Family members and close friends are welcome to visit at any time that suits the resident. All our properties provide welcoming communal areas, quiet lounges, and landscaped gardens so you can spend quality time together in complete privacy.
-
Yes, we want our rooms to feel entirely like home. We warmly encourage residents to personalise their private en-suite bedrooms by bringing small pieces of familiar furniture, cherished photographs, favourite decorations, and personal keepsakes to create a reassuring, comfortable space.
-
Yes, our professional in-house kitchen teams prepare fresh, balanced, and nutritious meals daily across all properties. We cater to every lifestyle and medical dietary requirement, including vegetarian, vegan, diabetic, and culturally specific preferences. Furthermore, our chefs are fully trained in IDDSI frameworks to provide safely modified texture meals (such as soft, bite-sized, or pureed diets) for residents experiencing swallowing difficulties.

Securing a room for yourself or a loved one is a structured, supportive four-step process designed to ensure clinical and personal requirements are perfectly met:
1. Initial Enquiry & Consultation: Reach out to your chosen care home team to discuss current room availability, specific care needs, and book a tour.
2. Complimentary Care Assessment: Our experienced Home Manager or Clinical Lead will conduct a comprehensive care needs assessment. This can take place at home, in hospital or at the home to build an exact, person-centred care profile.
3. Funding & Administration Review: We confirm the financial framework, whether private self-funding, Local Authority assisted, or fully funded via NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC).
4. Transition & Move-In Day: Once the care agreement is finalised, we arrange a suitable move-in date. We coordinate closely with families, GPs, and social workers to assist with room personalisation, care plan building and ensuring that everything is in place to create a warm welcome and a smooth transition.

Navigating the financial landscape of UK social care can feel overwhelming, which is why we have developed a bespoke digital tool to provide instant clarity. You can evaluate potential weekly care costs, project long-term fee structures, and check your alignment with means-tested local authority capital limits by using our interactive portal: Care Home Funding Calculator. This tool simplifies budgeting so you can make highly informed choices before booking a formal care assessment.

Every facility within the RDCP Care network is strictly regulated by national independent governing bodies to guarantee excellent clinical, operational, and environmental safety standards:
Homes in England: Continuously inspected, assessed, and rated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Homes in Wales: Inspected and regulated by Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) for our regional facilities like St Nicholas House in Montgomery, Powys.
All current regulatory inspection reports, quality gradings, and compliance histories are proudly displayed on our website and prominently within each home's reception area.

One of the core benefits of our multi-disciplinary care network is our ability to adapt seamlessly as a resident's health needs evolve. If an individual enters an RDCP facility under a standard residential package but later requires registered nursing intervention or develops complex dementia, we manage the transition smoothly. Our clinical leads conduct regular care plan reviews alongside families, local GPs, and social workers. Because we operate dedicated nursing wings and specialist dementia units within our regional property clusters, we can easily elevate the level of medical care provided without causing the distress of moving.
