Staying active
and motivated.

Encouraging our residents to stay active, engaged and creative is proven to help not only with their mental and physical wellbeing, but their sense of self-worth and motivation too.

Activities play an important part in everyday life in our homes, helping residents stay engaged, connected, and able to enjoy each day in a way that feels meaningful to them.

We encourage every resident to continue the routines, hobbies, and interests they value.

One way we do this is by offering a varied programme of regular events, clubs, and social opportunities tailored to individual preferences.

Each home has dedicated Activity Coordinators who carefully plan daily activities around residents’ interests, abilities, and personal choices, ensuring there are enjoyable opportunities for everyone to take part in a way that feels comfortable and rewarding.

Inside
and outside.

Each home offers a varied programme of social events and entertainment, both within the home and out in the local community.

Residents may enjoy outings to the theatre, exhibitions, the seaside, community events, or seasonal gatherings such as summer barbecues, all designed to bring enjoyment, connection, and new experiences.

We also warmly encourage family, friends, and members
of the local community to take part in day trips and activities within the home.

This helps to create a lively and inclusive social atmosphere. Alongside daily life and activities, understanding the level of care needed is an important part of choosing the right home, which is why a full care assessment is carried out before moving in.

This is completed together with the prospective resident and often includes input from family members, healthcare professionals, or other support networks to ensure care is planned around individual needs

It’s truly a
family affair.

At our homes, we strongly believe that life is best enjoyed together, which is why we actively encourage and involve families and loved ones as much as possible in daily life. From joining in on activities and social events to accompanying residents on outings and day trips, families play a vital role in making each day special.

Whether it’s celebrating birthdays, attending summer barbecues, exploring local attractions, or simply sharing a cup of tea, their presence enriches the experience for residents and helps create a warm, connected, and inclusive community where everyone feels valued and involved.
