Sandeep Kaur Dhindsa
Home Manager

  • I began my career in healthcare working my way up from a care assistant to senior carer and then deputy manager, developing strong skills in hands-on care as well as day-to-day service management and quality monitoring. This progression gave me a solid foundation in both frontline care and leadership. In February 2023, I became a registered manager at Caldene Rest Home. I hold an NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care and have recently started a nursing degree at the University of Wolverhampton, continuing my commitment to learning and professional development.

I have always been passionate about supporting people and making a meaningful difference in their lives. What I enjoy most about my role is developing my team and continuously improving the quality of care we provide, knowing that this has a direct and positive impact on residents’ wellbeing and day-to-day experiences.

My key strengths include leadership, quality improvement, and building strong, trusting relationships with staff, residents, and families. I am committed to maintaining high standards and always looking for ways to move the quality of service forward, ensuring care remains safe, effective, and person-centred.

My approach is based on openness, communication, and teamwork. I operate an open-door policy and aim to be approachable and supportive to both staff and families. I focus on creating a positive, collaborative environment where person-centred care is delivered consistently, while also encouraging ongoing improvements across the home.

Outside of work, I am passionate about both my own development and supporting my team to thrive. I take pride in creating a positive and supportive environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and able to do their best work.
