My name is Petty Mhlanga. I am the Registered Manager at Bartholamew Lodge Nursing Home. I hope you find ideally what you are looking for on our website.

As the Registered Manager of Bartholamew Lodge Nursing Home, I lead a professional and culturally dynamic team of 25t+ staff in delivering the highest standards to the best of our ability of care for up to 30 service users with varying needs. My commitment to professional development has equipped me well to my role here, where I work meticulously to ensure that those in my care lead to happy and fulfilling lives, while maintaining choice over the care over the support they receive.

I graduated from School of Nursing in January 2000,spent 2 years working abroad until I made a decision to migrate and work in the UK as a Registered General Nurse. I worked in a few Nursing Homes as a Registered General Nurse, Unit Manager and Deputy Manager. Since then with continual learning and development, colleague support and hard work , in 2021 I became Deputy Manager at Bartholamew Lodge Nursing Home. RDCP Care has continually given me the opportunity to develop my career. I completed my Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services Adult Management.

I am proud of what I have achieved and grateful for the support that I have received from my colleagues. I enjoy all aspects of managing a Nursing Home, including ensuring that its homely for our service users and offering care based on individual needs.

It is  also important to me that I support my staff to develop and succeed in roles in the same way I have been supported. I feel very privileged to be in a role that gives me such fulfillment and enables me to bring my knowledge, experience and skills to my team who are encouraged to give the best care and support they can to our service users and families.
