Life at Kings Bromley
Welcome to Kings Bromley Care Home, where every resident is treated with the utmost care and respect. Here we provide residential, nursing, dementia, palliative and physical disability care for 46 persons. We offer expert care and support to people with a wide range of conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, stroke, heart and chest related problems, reduced mobility and dementia. We offer a homely, comfortable and caring environment and encourage people to enjoy a range of activities both within the home and further afield.
Activities and events
With a dedicated team of professionals, we provide personalised services that cater to the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents. Our wonderful Activities co-ordinator Emma plans and provides a wide array of activities and community events, encouraging residents to thrive both physically and emotionally.
Our activities program includes holistic therapies, craft sessions gardening, utilising our gardens, local amenities, bowling green, board games and pamper sessions just to name a few.
Our local community, relatives, friends and staff are dedicated to creating a friendly, homely atmosphere that feels like family. We encourage regular visits and throw events such as seasonal parties, Christmas fairs and visiting entertainers. Our residents also enjoy performances from a travelling theatre once a month and visits from the school choir. The local Vicar also visits frequently and we work to support all residents faiths and values.

Food and beverages
We believe that mealtimes should be both nourishing and enjoyable, offering a variety of delicious, wholesome meals designed to meet the individual needs and preferences of our residents. We understand that each resident has unique dietary needs, whether for medical, cultural, or personal reasons. Our dining areas are designed to foster a warm and social atmosphere, where residents can dine together and engage in lively conversation. For those who prefer more private dining, we also offer room service options. Our daily menu offers a wide range of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as nutritious snacks throughout the day, along with providing a selection of beverages, including teas, fresh juices, and coffee.

I have been working in the UK Healthcare sector for 13 years since moving here from Tarnaveni- Romania in October 2011.
I have been qualified as a nurse for 30 years. I worked as a nurse in hospital - (Gheorghe Marinescu Tarnaveni- Romania ) for over 17 years, furthering my skills in the UK where I was practicing as a Nurse/ Clinical Lead/Deputy manager, attending/completing multiple relevant trainings.
My aim is to provide high standards of medical and personal care tailored to each patient's needs. To ensure the patients receive appropriate treatment, medication and support for conditions like dementia, mobility issues and chronic illnesses.
Also to make every day better for both, residents and our dedicated colleagues, to build a good relationship with relatives and professional team.
I am a dedicated nurse and I'm dedicated to creating a positive environment as a leader.

Location
Located in a tranquil rural village- awarded 2024s best kept village in Staffordshire- in a picturesque setting surrounded by nature and flora. Here our residents benefit from the convenient access to the local amenities including the local pub, shops, community centre and church.
Accommodation and facilities
Our home consists of 46 bedrooms, a large communal lounge, a smaller quiet lounge, dining room, conservatory, enclosed gardens, hair salon and bowls green. Each bedroom has in room wash basins, electric profiling beds and nurse call systems. We have landscaped gardens and spacious courtyards which people can enjoy and sit in the sun on warm summer
days.
Rooms have beautiful views of the surrounding nature and some have direct access to the conservatory or the enclosed gardens.Our hair salon is utilised by our hairdresser who visits once a week. High standards of cleanliness are kept by our brilliant housekeeping team as well as running our onsite laundry.
